Belgium plans a new anti-tobacco law for January 1, 2027. It would ban smoking and vaping on terraces and in indoor smoking areas, shutting down cigar lounges. The proposal still needs final approval, but it’s seen as a major threat to Europe’s cigar culture. This also could jump accross the pond.
It risks eroding a shared international culture cherished by enthusiasts on both sides of the Atlantic. Ultimately, the events in Belgium are a critical bellwether for potential future regulatory battles over personal choice in the United States.

Mil Días Des Deux LE 2025 – Crowned Heads
This special release comes with two blends in one box, inspired by a classic Cuban cigar. Each 12-count box has six Habano and six Maduro Long Coronas (6 1/8 x 42). The Habano uses an Ecuador Habano wrapper with Nicaraguan, Costa Rican, and Peruvian fillers.
Dos Amigos – Jori Llorens & Isidre Pineda
A new brand debuted at InterTabac. Dos Amigos uses tobaccos aged at least two years. The blend is Nicaraguan with an Ecuador Rosado wrapper, Jalapa binder, and fillers from Estelí, Jalapa, and Ometepe. Launching in Toro and Robusto sizes.
Fuente Fuente OpusX Society Three-Packs
The rare OpusX Society cigars now come in slide-lid three-packs instead of 20-count boxes. The cigar is a 6 1/4 x 49 vitola made entirely from Dominican tobaccos at Chateau de la Fuente.
Blackened M81 & S84 Lancero – Drew Estate
From Drew Estate and Metallica’s James Hetfield, the Blackened brand adds a 7 x 38 Lancero. It comes in both the M81 Maduro and S84 lines and is sold only at Drew Estate retail events.
