U.S. Threatens Tariffs on Nicaraguan Goods The U.S. Trade Representative has proposed tariffs of up to 100% on all imports from Nicaragua, citing human rights concerns. This poses a significant threat to the premium cigar industry, as Nicaragua is the largest U.S. supplier of handmade cigars. The move could lead to a “catastrophic price increase” for a majority of cigars on the market.
“As a result of the determination that Nicaragua’s acts, policies, and practices are actionable, the U.S. Trade Representative has proposed a range of responsive actions,” the U.S. trade representative’s office said in a statement.
I’m being rather sarcastic, just venting, now onto the release news.
New Cigar Releases & Limited Editions
Weller by Cohiba 2025: The fifth collaboration between Cohiba and Weller Bourbon is a 6 x 50 Toro. It features a USA Broadleaf binder aged in Weller Antique 107 bourbon barrels.
The cigars began shipping in October 2025 with an MSRP of $29.99.
Montecristo 90th Anniversary House Reserve: To celebrate the brand’s 90th anniversary, the UK’s Habanos distributor is releasing a limited collection of 10-year-aged original Montecristo sizes (No. 2, No. 3, No. 4, No. 5).
Aimed at collectors, only 135 boxes of each size will be available.
Diplomaticos Cancilleres: Habanos S.A. is adding a new regular-production cigar to the Diplomaticos line for the first time in decades. The Cancilleres is a 5 x 52 cigar with a pigtail cap.
A global launch event is set for November 27, 2025, in Bulgaria.
Onward Dreams Middleweight Champ: A new collaboration between Dreamer Cigars, Onward Boxing, and J.C. Newman Cigar Co. This medium-bodied Pyramid cigar features an Ecuadorian Havana seed wrapper over Nicaraguan tobaccos and started shipping on October 15.

La Flor Dominicana Oro Line Extension: Three new sizes have been added to the bold Oro line: the No. 5 (6 x 48), No. 7 (7.5 x 52), and No. 8 (7 x 60). The new vitolas began shipping in October 2025.
Mil Días Des Deux LE 2025: Crowned Heads has released a limited edition of 1,500 boxes designed for comparison. Each 12-count box contains six Corona Grande cigars with the original Habano wrapper and six with a Maduro wrapper.
Sempiternus: A highly exclusive boutique project from Danays León and master blender Eladio Díaz. The cigar is a 7 x 48 Churchill with a complex seven-tobacco blend, aged for eight months post-rolling. Production is limited to 888 numbered boxes.
Diesel Sideshow Sampler 2025: A holiday sampler containing seven uniquely shaped cigars, including a culebra. It will ship in November with a suggested price of $99.45.
Two Guys 40th Anniversary Atabey: New Hampshire retailer Two Guys Cigars is celebrating its 40th anniversary with an exclusive release from Selected Tobacco. The release features two limited-edition humidors with ultra-premium Atabey cigars.
